    Great read!
A wonderfully written story to give you the confidence to be different. My 9 year old and I both loved it!

    The Wanderer
The lamb pretends to be similar but cannot

The lamb goes through hurricanes of feelings,

    Turmoil of emotions

The lamb is sometimes lost in abysses

The shepherd is his lifeline, his saver, the Pied Piper

He can understand and is not judgmental

He is always there to give the lamb a hand

Because he understands, being different is okay

He understands the lamb needs unconditional love

Being different needs to be celebrated!

    Awesome
I bought this for my son, (He is perhaps a little young to fully understand the story yet). I love the meaning behind it. It helps children understand that being neurodiverse and having difference is OK!

Such a beautiful message for all!
Our 10 year old read The Wandering Lamb to us and I can’t tell you how much it meant! Our son has ADHD & ASD so spends so much of his life feeling different or somehow not enough, so he identified with the story of both Lamb and the author, so much. To be able to read a book and hear him say “Mum! It’s just like me!” was honestly quite emotional. I truly recommend this for all children, and adults for that matter; such an important message!

A wonderful story of uniqueness, acceptance and unconditional love
This is one of my son's well-loved bedtime stories. He enjoys the illustrations, pointing out the butterfly and following the red trails across the pages. He's a little young to understand the meaning at the moment but I enjoy the beautiful message it conveys.
My son loves to explore and I encourage this through sensory, exploratory, unrushed activities whenever I can. When we are out ambling through the woods or he's creating a piece of artwork in his own unique way, I often think of him as the wandering lamb, taking his time to walk his own path on a journey of creativity, exploration and play. And I love him all the more for being him and doing things his way <3
