Hyphen: An Anthology of Short Stories by Poets

What is the relationship between poetry and fiction? Can poets offer any insights to short story writers? In this unique publishing experiment, 20 of Britain's leading versifiers, including Sean O'Brien, Sophie Hannah, Ian McMillan, David Constantine, Gerard Woodward and Anne Stevenson, have been invited to step forward into the unfamiliar terrain of the short story (many of them for the first time), to be led by their instincts, by the narrative drive of their already distinguished poetry...into prose. These stories chart an atlas of personal spaces as sharply defined as the strange and captivating characters who populate them.
