    In 2026 the Canterbury Association for Medieval & Early Modern Studies (CAMEMS) are celebrating all things medieval with a fascinating programme of 20 in-person talks from Friday 1 May to Sunday 3 May 2026. Spread across 11 sessions in two venues at the University of Kent, the Medieval Canterbury Weekend brings together leading historians, lively discussion, and fresh insights into the Middle Ages.     The Canterbury Christ Church University Bookshop will be on hand with its regular bookstall and there will be facilities for authors to sign newly purchased books. Books will be available to purchase throughout the conference from the pop-up bookshop in the Templeman Library - we look forward to seeing you again! Books by the speakers are listed below. Books can be pre-ordered online for home delivery or reserved for collection at the pop-up bookshop There will be additonal discounts and special offers for books purchased at the conference.

    Tickets for Canterbury History Weekends are sold securely through TicketSource. A small booking fee is applied per ticket by TicketSource at checkout.
