A collection of Rudyard Kipling's articles describing the role of the Navy during the First World War. Published to coincide with the 150th anniversary of Rudyard Kipling's birth.

The pieces collected in this volume were written in response to a request by the Admiralty, as the British public wanted to know what the Navy, the 'silent service', on which so much money had been spent in the decade before the war, was doing. Sea Warfare was a compilation of a series of thirteen newspaper articles. Six were published between November 1915 and October 1916, primarily in The Daily Telegraph. The articles include: The Fringes of the Fleet; Tales of 'The Trade'; Destroyers at Jutland.
