The co-author David Wheway has been in primary and secondary education for over 40 years. In that time, he has been a class teacher, music leader and music coordinator in primary schools, worked for music advisory in the Midlands and as a freelance music education advisor. David was until recently a senior university lecturer in education and music education at Christ Church University, Canterbury.
